Create and build, no matter the time, circumstances, or past failures — it’s better to bring an idea to life and see its imperfections than to pass by and never know what it could have been.
Anastasia Kugaevskaya was born in 1986 in the Kurgan region of Russia. Driven by a desire to connect her life with the arts, she initially set her sights on becoming a fashion designer. However, due to the distance of the nearest university, she chose to study "garment design," later transferring to a program in "technology of artistic material processing" at South Ural State University. There, she focused on drawing, painting, and design engineering.
Anastasia participated in student graphic exhibitions and international design sketch competitions held in Moscow. In 2005, 2007, and 2008, she won first prizes at the International Fashion Assembly. After graduation, she began working in interior design, founding a small team under the name Habitonica, working across both Russia and Europe.
In 2018, She decided to return to visual arts more seriously, taking private lessons from artist, professional teacher and author of books on drawing and painting, Anastasia Shimshilashvili. In 2020, Anastasia Kugaevskaya held her first solo exhibition at the "Harmonia" gallery in Chelyabinsk.
